The 15V 1500A Hard Chrome Plating Rectifier delivers 22.5 kW of adjustable DC power for engineering chromium deposition, wear surfaces and dimensional restoration. The rating suits moderate workpiece area and low-voltage high-current hard chrome tanks.
Supporting thick functional chromium
Hard chrome is used for wear resistance, low friction, surface restoration and engineering performance rather than only decorative appearance. Stable current helps maintain the selected current density and deposition rate. Thickness distribution, deep-recess coverage and finish also depend on bath chemistry, temperature, anode geometry, auxiliary anodes, shielding, rack contacts and part shape.

How to check 1500A
Current is calculated from the actual plated area and the process current density. Hard chrome work may use a broad current-density range, so the bath specification, geometry and target thickness are needed before deciding how much area 1500A can serve. Voltage should be taken from the highest loaded tank condition and connection losses.
Reversing and production controls
Automatic reverse etching, timers, ampere-hour control, current ramps and remote operation can be configured when included in the plating sequence. Reverse or pulse functions are not assumed for every hard chrome bath.
