The 12V 300A precious metal electroplating rectifier is a lower-current DC source for a defined precious-metal bath and production load. It can be evaluated for gold, silver, palladium, platinum, rhodium or alloy deposition only after the exact chemistry and coating objective are confirmed.
Published Rating
| Rated DC output | 12 V, 300 A |
|---|---|
| Primary application | Precious metal electroplating |
| AC input for quotation | Specify AC 380 V or 415 V and local frequency. Final input configuration requires confirmation. |
| Main regulation mode | Constant-current or constant-voltage main mode, selected for the process. Final control configuration requires confirmation. |
| Cooling and enclosure | Selected from output power, duty cycle, ambient temperature, installation environment and available cooling conditions. |
Process Fit
Decorative color, electrical contacts, bonding surfaces, corrosion resistance, flash deposits, thick deposits and electroforming are different plating objectives. Soft gold and hard gold are not interchangeable descriptions. Each project must identify metal/alloy, purity or hardness requirement, underplate and final use.
Current is calculated from the chemistry supplier’s current-density window and effective energized area. Selective, jet, rack, barrel and continuous processes may use very different areas and mass-transfer conditions.
Information Required for Quotation
- Precious metal/alloy, bath product and supplier technical data.
- Substrate, underplate, coating function and target thickness.
- Effective area, load quantity, current density and cycle time.
- Rack, barrel, selective, jet or continuous production method.
- Approved waveform, ampere-minute/ampere-hour control and traceability needs.
Configuration Boundary
This page confirms the published DC rating and application only. Cooling method, enclosure grade, control interface, ramp profile, timer, ampere-hour control, pulse operation, polarity reversal, communication protocol and any special ripple limit are optional project items only when confirmed in writing. They are not included by default.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this page guarantee suitability for every precious metal?
No. The rating must be matched to the specific chemistry, metal and production load.
Can 300 A be selected from part count?
Not without effective area and the approved current-density range.
Are pulse and recipe functions standard?
No. They are project options only when the validated process requires them.
