The 60V 4000A N+1 Water-Cooled Hard Anodizing Rectifier delivers 240 kW of adjustable DC power for high-load hard-coat anodizing lines. Its modular cabinet, water cooling and remote operator interface suit production tanks where current capacity, rising process voltage and continuous heat removal must be considered together.
Power for hard-coat oxide growth
Hard anodizing builds a thicker, more wear-resistant oxide layer than conventional decorative anodizing. As the layer grows, electrical resistance and loaded tank voltage can rise. Controlled current and voltage adjustment helps the line follow the process profile, supporting more repeatable film formation when bath temperature, alloy, agitation, contacts and current density are properly controlled.

When 60V and 4000A make sense
Current is calculated from the largest simultaneously anodized area and the process current density. Voltage is selected from the highest loaded tank voltage near the demanding part of the cycle, including contacts and conductor losses. This rating can suit large rack loads or increased production capacity where a lower-current unit would limit the maximum area.
Modular operation and line integration
The extra module position can support maintenance or capacity planning when the electrical and control design is configured for that purpose. Automatic takeover, load sharing and reduced-capacity operation are available only when included in the control scope. Remote setpoints, current ramping, timers, ampere-hour control, alarms and PLC communication can be integrated with the anodizing line.
