The 150V 50A Electrodialysis Rectifier supplies 7.5 kW of adjustable DC power for membrane separation, desalination trials and compact electrodialysis systems.
The 150V 50A Electrodialysis Rectifier applies controlled DC across ion-exchange membrane stacks, driving selective ion migration for desalination, concentration or process-water separation according to the membrane and hydraulic design.
Establishing the membrane-stack field
Electrodialysis uses a DC electric field to move ions through selective membranes. Adjustable output lets operators set a suitable electrical load as feed conductivity and concentration change. Separation results also depend on membrane type, stack design, flow distribution, pretreatment and limiting-current operation.

Select from stack data
Provide membrane-pair count, stack resistance, feed conductivity, maximum voltage and intended current density. The normal operating point should sit comfortably within the adjustment range rather than at its extreme.
Useful monitoring
Voltage, current and accumulated energy can be reported to the treatment controller. Remote setpoints, flow permissives and alarms can protect operation when circulation or conductivity moves outside the selected range.
