The 50V 1000A Hydrogen Electrolysis Rectifier provides 50 kW of adjustable DC power for electrolyzer skids, pilot production and modular hydrogen systems.
Controlling the electrolyzer operating point
An electrolyzer requires a DC source matched to its cell count, working current and expected voltage range. Controlled output allows the system to move through startup and adjustment before settling at the required production point. Stable regulation also gives the supervisory controller a dependable electrical input while electrolyte condition, temperature and gas-handling equipment are managed by the complete plant.
Rated data
| DC output | 50V, 1000A |
|---|---|
| Rated power | 50 kW |
| Control modes | Constant current and constant voltage |
| Cooling | Air or water cooling to suit installation and duty |
| Interfaces | Analog signals, PLC, RS485 and remote operation |
| Custom output range | 1–1000V and 1–100,000A |

How to specify the rectifier
Provide the electrolyzer’s normal and maximum DC voltage, operating current, cell arrangement and startup profile. The rectifier rating should cover the intended working window without forcing normal operation to either extreme of its adjustment range.
Integration and protection
Soft start, programmable ramps, local or remote control, emergency-stop circuits and plant communication can be included. Voltage, current, temperature and cooling status can be made available to the control system, with alarms and interlocks selected for the installation.
