The 12V 4000A metal electrowinning rectifier provides low-voltage, high-current DC for depositing a dissolved metal onto cathodes. The target metal and electrolyte must be identified; this page does not treat all hydrometallurgical processes as one operating recipe.

Electrowinning Selection

Voltage is built from cell operating voltage, number and connection of cells, electrolyte resistance, overpotential and busbar losses. Electrowinning must also be distinguished from electrorefining, which uses a different anode and feed route.
