Size for the fullest rack

Calculate current from the maximum total plated area on one rack and the process current density. Voltage must cover the bath and losses in cables, busbars, rack arms, hooks and contacts at full load. Allow sensible production reserve without making the normal range unnecessarily small.

Fit the line sequence

Local or remote control, timed stages, recipe selection and production totals can be included. The rectifier may also exchange run, setpoint and alarm signals with an automatic hoist or plating-line controller.
