The 60V 5000A Nickel Electrowinning Rectifier is a 300 kW DC power system for nickel recovery circuits requiring high current, continuous duty and plant-level control.
Stable current for metal recovery
Nickel electrowinning transfers dissolved nickel onto cathode surfaces. The useful operating point changes with cathode area, electrode spacing, electrolyte composition, temperature and cell resistance. Consistent current control helps maintain the selected current density across the production cycle, supporting predictable deposition when solution management and electrode preparation are properly controlled.

Rating the recovery circuit
Current should be based on the maximum active cathode area and selected current density. Voltage must cover the full cell string and all cable, busbar and contact losses at operating current. For a 300 kW installation, cooling-water conditions and incoming AC capacity should be confirmed early.
Built around the plant
Remote setpoints, output feedback, ramped startup, production totals, alarms and permissive signals can connect the rectifier to the plant controller. Modular construction, redundant power sections and tailored enclosures are available where uptime or site conditions require them.
